On December 13, 2016, Deputy James Tabor responded to a Deep Branch Road residence to execute two arrests warrants. There, Tommy Worley, 29, and Nickie N. Worley, 24, each of Davis Hollow, were taken into custody and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
Warrants for their arrests were obtained by the victim of an October 2016 burglary. Over 10 firearms, miscellaneous jewelry, electronic devices and old coins were taken. The victim obtained the warrants after some firearms were returned due to beliefs that they belonged to the victim.
There is an active arrest warrant for a third suspect, Donald R. Hicks, 29, of Pioneer, Tennessee (pictured here). The Whitley Co. Sheriff’s Dept. is working with the Campbell Co. Sheriff’s Dept. to make the arrest.
If you have information about the whereabouts of Hicks, please contact Whitley Co. E-911 at (606) 549-6017. Dep. Tabor is leading the investigation. He was assisted by Sergeant James Fox and Dep. Jonas Saunders.
